Our First Guest

I’m really excited about our first guest, Laurie Ruettimann. If you don’t know Laurie, you can learn more about her here. Chances are, if you’re in HR, you know her, though. She’s a speaker, consultant, former HR leader and one of the driving forces behind the #WorkHuman Conference.

And speaking of conferences, have you ever been to an HR conference and seen one of those CHRO panels? You know, the ones where they put a few very senior HR folks up on stage and ask them to share their wisdom?

That’s where my conversation with Laurie begins as she tells us why she thinks those are a waste of time and what she’d like to hear in those sessions to make them really worthwhile. Other topics I explore with Laurie include:
